What I Love About Exercise

Hello, I’m Debbie Saroufim, a NASM certified personal trainer and exercise enthusiast. What I love most about exercise is how it makes you feel. I love the endorphin rush and I love the energy it helps me sustain throughout the day. When I work out and eat right, I sleep more soundly, I get less tension headaches and my skin looks better.

 

BUT, I don’t spend every free moment in the gym, and I don’t even forbid myself sweets. Staying fit should never feel like a job and you don't have to have an abundance of time or money to stay fit. I think a lot of people forget that fitness isn’t about how much you can bench, or whose butt looks best in skinny jeans.  It’s about feeling good and fueling your body properly. It's about making wise choices nutritionally, while still treating yourself so you can have fun along the way.

 

More than just an exercise blog, I've created this page to discuss all aspects of healthy living. My hope is that these posts will act as inspiration for a sustainable, active lifestyle. I'm also here to address any exercise and nutritional questions you might have. So, drop me a line and I'd love to answer your questions in a blog post.
